Soudah Development Launches the Inaugural Cohort of Its Hospitality and Tourism Scholarship Program


Soudah Development, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has announced that the selected applicants for its specialized Scholarship Program for International Tourism and Hospitality Management have successfully completed their intensive English language course. The candidates, representing the first cohort of the program, will embark on their academic journeys at prestigious international universities starting in January 2025.
This program is one of Soudah Development’s initiatives to enable and empower the local community in Soudah and Rijal Almaa through equipping youth from the region with the required skills and knowledge in tourism and hospitality, the promising industries in Aseer region and the Kingdom as a whole.
“The program aims to prepare future leaders in tourism and hospitality and provide them with the required skills to benefit from the vast opportunities these industries offer, and to enable them to play a role in the sustainable economic development in the Kingdom.” Said Eng. Saleh Aloraini, CEO of Soudah Development. “These programs are part of our efforts to create more opportunities for the local community in Soudah and Rijal Almaa. We wish applicants the best of luck and success, and we are looking forward for the next cohort.” He added.
As this first cohort prepares for their academic journey, Soudah Development plans to expand the program, with more students to be announced in future intakes. The company will share details on application openings and admissions for future cohorts through its official channels.
