Pioneering sustainable development
We are committed to setting a new benchmark in sustainable development by fostering strong partnerships, engaging in strategic memberships, and initiating programs that drive community-centric real estate, tourism, and entertainment projects. In 2023, we signed three MoU’s with the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI), and The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (TRITA) in relation to the preservation of our regional cultural heritage and traditions and sustainability.

Soudah Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, aims to enhance tourism and hospitality training initiatives within the region. This partnership is a reflection of the company's commitment to upskilling and empowering the local community, which will result in thousands of employment opportunities by 2033 — stimulating economic growth and supporting small to medium enterprises. This partnership will also further the overall objectives of enhancing tourism and making sure that we have a local workforce ready to meet rising demand across this sector.

Scholarship Program
Our community capacity programs for the local youth of Soudah and Rijal Almaa are designed to cultivate the next generation of national leaders. By focusing on tourism and hospitality, the program aims to build essential competencies within the broader framework of developing a sustainable destination. Programs included Scholarships, English as a Second Language, On-Job learning, Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Enablement, and Hospitality and Tourism Academy. The program partners with leading academic institutions specializing in tourism and hospitality to ensure comprehensive and high-quality education.

We are dedicated to implementing a variety of sustainable development projects including resource protection, reforestation initiative, animal reintroduction.
Preserving the environmental integrity and protecting the destination’s natural aesthetics are top priorities in our development strategy. We will follow a rigorous regulatory framework and urban planning code to underpin all our development activities.
Safeguarding plants and wildlife fall under Vision 2030’s sustainability agenda and will ensure that future generations enjoy the rich natural biodiversity.

We will introduce research programs to ensure the protection and preservation of Soudah’s unique flora and fauna - from lavender fields, juniper forests and endemic bird species and native animals.
