Who We Are
We are driving the development of Soudah and parts of Rijal Almaa’s Governorate in the Aseer region to create a luxury mountain destination with immersive cultural experiences, while celebrating the region’s natural landscape.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced the launch of Soudah Development Company on 24th February 2021, with investments exceeding SAR 11 billion. Soudah Development is a closed joint-stock real estate development company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia, with the aim of developing Soudah and parts of Rijal Almaa in the Aseer region to create a luxury mountain tourist destination.
Soudah Development is a vital part of Public Investment Fund’s (PIF) contribution to Saudi Vision 2030 goals of enhancing and developing the tourism and entertainment sectors in the Kingdom.

Sustainable tourism infrastructure
Our Project offers an array of investment opportunities to both local and international investors with the goal of creating potential partnerships within the public and private sectors. With an investment exceeding SAR 11 billion, we will work towards building a sustainable tourism infrastructure and attractions to create a unique year-round tourism destination.
Preserving environmental integrity and protecting the destination’s natural assets are our priorities. We will adhere a rigorous regulatory framework and urban planning code to guide in all our development activities.

About the project
A year-round luxury mountain destination
Our project area spans 627 km², encompassing Soudah and parts of Rijal Almaa. The destination aims to attract over 2 million visitors annually by 2030.
Public Investment Fund (PIF) is driving the growth of new sectors, companies and job creation, as a catalyst of achieving Vision 2030.

Soudah Development Board of Directors is chaired by HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with HRH the Minister of Culture serving as Vice President, alongside with a group of esteemed excellencies and distinguished individuals. Together, they are steering the company toward achieving the objectives of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and contributing to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
